Brief Description

INHIBITED ACID CLEANER

Technical Notes

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

An inhibited acid cleaner for de-rusting and cleaning of concreting equipment. Etch cleaning of concrete.

Descaling of rusted ferrous metals.

Contains surfactants to aid wetting and cleaning.

DIRECTIONS

Recommended dilution 1 part SAFE D SCALE to 4 parts water for descaling rust ( 250ml per litre).

A surface sealer or paint should be applied immediately after descaling as re-rusting will occur very rapidly.

Dilute 1 part to 50 parts water for cleaning concrete equipment or trucks. (20ml per litre)

Dilute 1 part to 50 parts water for cleaning concrete floors prior to sealing or the adding new concrete. (20ml per litre) This is an etch clean and not recommended for routine cleaning of concrete.

PRECAUTIONS

FULL PROTECTIVE CLOTHING REQUIRED.

Store in separate & secure area.

Store in original container.

Do not mix with other chemicals.

Rinse container when finished, recycle where possible.

FIRST AID

Ingestion: drink 1-2 glasses of water. Seek medical advice. Do not Induce vomiting. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious or convulsing patient.

Skin Contact: rinse with cold water for 15 minutes and seek medical advice if irritation persists.

Eye contact: flush with cold water for 15 minutes and seek medical advice if irritation persists.

Inhalation: remove from further exposure. Seek medical advice if discomfort continues.

Spillage: contain spillage with absorbent and dispose in accordance with local regulations.
